These twisted Saw films will really have you shaking in your boots. They are based on a character named John Kramer also known as Jigsaw Killer. He traps his victims and tests their will to live. He chooses people who have done wrong in their life and believes that if they survive they will become stronger people.
Saw
A photographer called Adam and an oncologist named Dr. Lawrence are chained at pipes either side of the room with a corpse surrounded in blood in between them. Throughout the film both of the men are given instructions through cassette tapes found in their pockets. Lawrence is instructed to kill Adam before 6pm or he will lose his family and Adam must escape the bathroom. This spine-chilling film leaves both of the men sawing their feet off and fighting for their lives. What else does Jigsaw have in store for them?
Saw II
This creepy 2005 film is about a police detective called Eric Matthews who discovers Jigsaw is up to his tricks again. Jigsaw wants to punish people who he believes to behave immorally so he decides to trap eight people in a dungeon to fight for their lives. A police informant wakes up to find a spike-filled mask around his neck and the others victims are put into dangerous situations. They all have to find the clues before the time runs out.
Saw III
This story follows a man named Jeff after his son is killed by a car; he is trapped and put through tests. Jigsaw chooses him as his victim to try and help him to let go of his vengeance on the man that killed his son. Dying John Kramer orders Amanda to kidnap a depressed doctor named Lynn for one more final test. Lynn has to keep John alive through Jeff’s tests otherwise she will die. What will happen to them all and will any of them escape?
Saw IV
Now that Jigsaw and his apprentice Amanda are dead the tests are taken over by a secret apprentice. When the coroner finds a tape inside John’s stomach he calls Detective Hoffman. Detective Kerry is later found dead and the SWAT Commander Rigg is forced to play sick and twisted games to save the life of Eric Matthews who earlier disappeared. What will happen next and who will escape?
Saw V
This gruesome and mysterious film is about the events leading up to Detective Hoffman becoming the Jigsaw Killer apprentice and how he prevents anyone from discovering his secret. Will the trapped victims realise they need to work together to survive Jigsaw’s sick games?
Saw VI
Hoffman decides to set a new trap for William Easton, an insurance executive. The FBI try to track down Jigsaw’s last accomplice but they are lead astray when Peter Strahm’s DNA is found. This 2009 horror film will have your gripping onto your seat and jumping at all the gruesome scenes.
Saw 3D
This last film reveals many secrets about the last accomplice and throughout the film the victims who survived previous tests are put through some more to prove their strength. You will be amazed with the incredible 3D effect, graphics and twisted storyline. This film is definitely one to watch on Halloween.
