Paranormal Activity 3 – Released 20/10/2011 (15)
If you loved the other two paranormal activity films or just like the supernatural world in general this film is for you. It goes back to how everything started with the haunting of the two sisters Katie and Kristi, so it is kind of a prequel to the prequel if that makes sense. It takes you back 18 years to 1988 when the sisters were children and is set before the first two films. We see the two young girls trying to summon the paranormal entity of Bloody Mary, a well known myth that suggests she will appear if you chant her name in front of a mirror. They try to capture the whole thing on camera but they get more than they bargained for when they are confronted by the monstrous demon that goes on to haunt and terrify them for the next 18 years. In typical paranormal activity style we follow the family through the terrifying demonic possession that has made these films the most talked about horror films in the last 5 years. A must see this Halloween, this film will have you wanting to sleep with the lights on!
