Have a Happy Halloween

Halloween is finally here so now’s the time to be getting your decorations up and your party food made! Below we have a few quick ideas to make your spooky Halloween party go to plan and give it that extra boost and excitement.

Checklist for the Day of the Party:

  1. Clean party room
  2. Put up the decorations
  3. Prepare remaining food
  4. Get out party food on tables and cover with cling film
  5. Dress in your Halloween costume
  6. Wait for the guests to arrive

Murder in the Dark Game:

You will need:
At least 5 people
Pack of cards

Instructions:

  1. The cards must be sorted so there is only one queen, one jack and one ace.
  2. They will be shared out so each person gets one each.
  3. Whoever receives the ace is the detective and must leave the room.
  4. The person with the jack is the murderer and the person with the queen is the victim.
  5. After the detective has left the room, the murderer and victim must tell the innocent people.
  6. The victim must then scream and play dead.
  7. The detective will come in the room
  8. Everyone must each give an alibi and then will have to repeat.
  9. However everyone’s story must be the same except the murderer who will need to change one word.
  10. Will the detective be able to guess who the murderer is?

Who am I Game:

You will need:
Paper
Pen
Balloons

Instructions:

  1. Write out clues for Halloween characters on pieces of small paper. (E.g. I have large fangs and thirsty for blood)
  2. Each piece of paper is put in one of these fantastic Light up Pumpkin balloons.
  3. The children are split into two teams.
  4. One child from each team has to pop a balloon and act out the character to their team mates.
  5. The team with the most points win!

(TIP: Dim the lights and let the balloon glow in the dark while you have fun playing)
